Fire & Water Creations, Create an Ocean Gem
Come and try your luck in a search for authentic sea glass. We will then turn this newfound treasure into a piece of art - a unique jewellery pendant made by you...for you, or a loved one. You may wish to bring your own treasure found on a previous hunt. Be with Teri as she shares her knowledge of the journey of the glass that turns a fragment into a gem. As a finishing touch we will sit on an outdoor deck overlooking Bay Fortune, enjoying local organic veggies with homemade dip, created by my friend, local chef Michael Smith (signed recipe provided). Create a memory using an Island-made blanket to craft a small Handbag, Christmas Ornament, Teddy Bear or "Anne" Ornament. Enjoy stories told by Glenis Bowser about the blankets, local history, ghosts and teddy bears. Savour a cup of tea or lemonade, locally made cinnamon rolls & biscuits, jams & honeys, all in the kitchen of the 150 year old Luke House. TIME; 1:30 - 4:30 (approx.)
